Alabama residents and nonresidents between the age of 16 & 64 must obtain a hunting and/or fishing license to fish and/or hunt on public or private land or water ways. All Alabama residents 65 years of age and older are not required to purchase a license as long as you have proof of residence and age, like an Alabama driver's license.
