Charles "Chad" Joiner is a 20 year resident of Talladega County. He is a retired Alabama State Trooper who began his 26 year law enforcement career as an Alexander City Police Officer before joining the Alabama State Troopers. During his career, Chad was member of the Alabama State Trooper SWAT team, a Field Training Officer, and Public Information Officer. He finished the last 10 years of his career as a Detail Leader in Protective Services where he was elected to serve as the Vice President of the National Governors Security Association Southern States Division.
A Clay County native, Chad has lived his entire life in and around Sylacauga area. He has been married to his wife, Dana, over 26 years and has two children. An active member of Church of the Highlands in Sylacauga, Chad is committed to a life of service.
