This notice is to inform
Talladega County Water Department customers that the Environmental Protection Agency(EPA) is requiring all community and non-transient non-community water systems to submit a complete inventory of all service lines connected to the distribution system, including both public and private side of the line. We have contracted a company to perform this inventory they will be in the area over the next few weeks.
What to Expect:
- Contractors will be in the area on Saturdays between 8am and 5pm, driving a gray Nissan Rogue with amber/white light bar on the top
- The inventory process will involve visually inspecting meter boxes. There is no need for contractors to enter your home or business.
- The entire process should only take a few minutes for each meter box.
